Overview
This Privacy Policy applies to accesscabling.com and related digital properties operated by Access Cabling, which is owned and operated by Fireside Security Group Inc. (collectively, "Access Cabling," "we," "our," or "us"). It describes the personal information we collect, how we use it, when we share it, and the rights available to visitors, clients, subcontractors, and applicants.
We designed this policy to be readable — not just legally sufficient. If a section is unclear, please contact our privacy team using the details in the Contact us section.
Information we collect
The categories of information we may collect include:
- Contact details — name, business name, job title, email address, phone number, and project address you submit through forms.
- Project information — building type, square footage, drop counts, cable categories, timelines, budget ranges, and other details you share when requesting an estimate or site survey.
- Communications — messages you send us by web form, email, phone, SMS, or through a CRM or scheduling integration.
- Employment inquiries — resume, work history, and eligibility information you send us by email in response to a career posting.
- Device & usage data — IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, pages viewed, and general geographic region.
- Cookies & similar technologies — see our Cookie Policy.
How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- Respond to your inquiries and prepare accurate proposals and quotes.
- Schedule and conduct on-site surveys and pre-construction walks.
- Deliver, manage, and support commercial cabling and low-voltage projects.
- Route calls to the appropriate regional office (see Call tracking).
- Send transactional messages such as scheduling confirmations and project updates.
- Review employment applications and communicate about openings.
- Operate, secure, monitor, and improve the website.

Forms, quotes & site surveys
When you complete a quote form, contact form, or site survey request, the information you provide is transmitted over an encrypted connection and stored in systems accessible only to authorized Access Cabling personnel responsible for estimating, scheduling, and project management.
If you request a booking, we may email or text you a scheduling confirmation, calendar invitation, and reminders. You can opt out of reminders at any time by replying to the message or contacting us.
Cookies & analytics
We use first-party and select third-party cookies to operate the site and understand how visitors use it. Our analytics providers may include Google Analytics and Google Search Console to measure traffic and search performance, and Google Business Profile to manage our local listings. These services set cookies or use similar identifiers to measure engagement in aggregate. For a full breakdown, see our Cookie Policy.
Call tracking
Where enabled, we use call-tracking numbers to route calls to the correct regional office and understand which marketing channels drive contact. Call metadata (caller number, region, call duration) may be logged; call content is not recorded unless you are informed at the start of the call and consent as required by California law.
CRM & third-party integrations
Information submitted through our website may be transmitted to our customer relationship management ("CRM"), scheduling, email, and project-management systems so that our estimators, project managers, and field teams can respond. These vendors act as processors on our behalf and are contractually required to use your information only to provide services to us.
Email & SMS communications
We may email you in response to inquiries or to send scheduling and project updates. Where you provide a mobile number and request text contact, we may send SMS messages related to your project. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. We do not sell or share your phone number with unrelated third parties for marketing.
File uploads
If you upload floor plans, drawings, photos, or specifications, those files are stored in our project systems and used only to prepare your quote and deliver services. We do not use uploaded project documents for any other purpose.
How information is shared
We share information only in these limited situations:
- Service providers processing information on our behalf (hosting, analytics, CRM, email, scheduling, payment, and background check providers).
- Project partners such as general contractors, architects, manufacturers (e.g., Belden), and subcontractors when required to design or deliver your project.
- Legal & safety — to comply with law, valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Access Cabling, our clients, or the public.
- Corporate transactions — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer involving Fireside Security Group Inc.
We do not sell personal information and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined by California law.
Security practices
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we collect. These include TLS encryption in transit, access controls scoped by role, activity logging, hardened hosting, and vendor security reviews. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; if you believe your interaction with us is no longer secure, contact us immediately.
Data retention
We retain information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described here, including to satisfy legal, accounting, warranty, or contractual requirements. Project records may be retained for the life of any warranty and for the period required by California contractor licensing rules.
Children's privacy
Our services are directed to businesses, institutions, and government agencies. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
