FAQ

Service area questions

What areas of California does Access Cabling serve?

We work statewide from five offices. Our Roseville office covers the Sacramento metro — Sacramento, Folsom, Roseville, Rancho Cordova, Elk Grove, and Citrus Heights. Bay Area work is dispatched from San Mateo, and Southern California work from Santa Fe Springs, West Los Angeles, and Downtown Los Angeles.

Do you charge for travel to cities outside your office locations?

No. Within our published service areas, site surveys are free and travel is included in the quoted price. For projects well outside those regions we'll tell you up front whether mobilization is a separate line item before any work is scheduled.

How quickly can a technician get on site?

In the Sacramento metro, Bay Area, and greater Los Angeles we typically walk a site within a week of your request, and sooner for outages or move-in deadlines. Call the office nearest you and we'll confirm the first available window.

Are you licensed and insured for commercial work in California?

Yes. Access Cabling has been in business since 1997 and holds California CSLB license #992009, with general liability and workers' compensation coverage. Certificates of insurance are provided for any property manager or general contractor that requires them.

What services are available in every service area?

Structured cabling (Cat6/Cat6A), fiber optic backbone, server rack and IDF/MDF buildouts, telecom infrastructure, access control, cameras, sound masking, and AV or LED video wall installation are available across all of our California service areas.

Can you handle multi-site rollouts across several California cities?

Yes. Multi-site rollouts are coordinated by one project manager with a single scope, labeling standard, and test report format across every location, so a Sacramento site and a Los Angeles site are handed off identically.
