Systems purpose-built for credit unions

Every credit unions program starts with these four pillars — engineered, installed and certified end-to-end.

Meriwest Credit Union Milpitas Flagship — Custom SBC LED Video Wall & 98" Vertical Displays

Flagship branch commercial AV buildout for Meriwest Credit Union in Milpitas, California — a custom SBC LED direct-view video wall built around a 96-degree architectural corner, plus two vertically mounted 98-inch commercial displays, with all structural mounting, power coordination, signal cabling, processing and calibration delivered by Access Cabling.

Challenge

Meriwest's flagship Milpitas branch was designed around a wrapped architectural corner in the member lobby, which meant the LED canvas could not be a flat rectangle — it had to turn a 96-degree corner with no visible seam or brightness shift across the bend. The branch also required two 98-inch commercial displays mounted in portrait orientation on finished walls, all of it installed inside an active construction schedule with millwork, lighting and ceiling trades working the same space.

Result

Meriwest opened its flagship Milpitas branch with a seamless corner LED canvas that reads as one continuous image from every approach in the lobby, two portrait 98-inch displays carrying member and product messaging, a single documented AV rack driving all content, and a front-serviceable LED wall that branch staff can operate without a contractor on site.

Frequently Asked

Credit Unions cabling questions

Can you cable a branch without closing it to members?+

Yes. Teller-line, ATM and lobby work happens overnight or on weekends with phased cutovers, so the branch opens on schedule. Flagship and remodel work is sequenced with your GC and millwork trades.

Do you handle branch AV, video walls and digital signage?+

Yes — member-lobby LED video walls, portrait commercial displays, digital signage, and the signal and control cabling behind them, all commissioned and documented under one contract.

How do you support NCUA and FFIEC infrastructure expectations?+

Documented cabling with labeled pathways and as-builts for audit, segmented networks for member-data systems, and physical security integration (cameras, access control, vault) aligned to examiner expectations.

Can you standardize across a multi-branch footprint?+

Yes. Standardized rack elevations, cable schedules and equipment lists across every branch, with one project manager and consolidated closeout documentation.

Are you licensed to do commercial credit unions cabling in California?+

Yes. Access Cabling holds California C-10 and C-7 licenses (CSLB #992009), $5M general liability, workers' comp, and is DIR-registered for prevailing-wage work. Every technician is BICSI-trained and manufacturer-certified.

Can you work in occupied credit unions spaces?+

Yes — most of our credit unions work is in live buildings. Night, weekend, and holiday scheduling is standard, with phased cutovers so operations continue.

Do you certify every drop?+

Yes — every copper drop is Fluke DSX-8000 permanent-link certified to TIA-568.2-D, and every fiber strand gets Tier 1 loss testing plus Tier 2 OTDR trace. Full test reports and as-builts are included in every closeout.
