The Customer Challenge

As a rapidly growing technology company, Bill.com needed a headquarters network that delivered reliable high-speed connectivity, clean and organized telecommunications spaces, capacity for future expansion, enterprise-grade cable management, minimal disruption to ongoing construction schedules, and professional documentation and testing for every installed cable — across multiple departments, conference rooms, collaboration spaces and IT infrastructure.

Engineering Solution

Over a six-week deployment Access Cabling installed all Category 6 horizontal cabling throughout the headquarters, constructed and organized the primary server room, installed equipment racks and cable management, terminated patch panels and rack fields, built out the telecommunications room, labeled and documented every drop, certified and tested every cable installed, integrated a fiber optic backbone between network spaces, and delivered a clean rack-and-stack installation for the network equipment — with every pathway planned to maintain proper bend radius, separation and long-term serviceability.

Installation Process

Access Cabling deployed a licensed field crew operating on a custom schedule schedule. Rack elevations and pathway drawings were engineered up front, cable assemblies prefabricated off-site, and installation phased around Bill.com's active operations to protect uptime.

Testing & Certification

Every copper drop was Fluke DSX-certified to TIA-568 category performance and every fiber link was tested to TIA-568 tier-1 with OTDR trace on the ,-strand fiber. TIA-606 labels and as-built documentation were delivered with the closeout package.
