The Customer Challenge

Biotechnology companies rely on fast, reliable and highly available network infrastructure to support research, laboratory operations, office systems and cloud connectivity. The client required a centralized, professionally organized server room; multiple IDFs throughout the facility; high-bandwidth fiber connectivity between telecommunications rooms; infrastructure designed for future growth; clean cable management and proper documentation; and minimal disruption during installation.

Engineering Solution

Access Cabling engineered and installed an enterprise-grade structured cabling system that included a complete server room buildout, multiple IDF installations, a 40Gb OM4 multimode fiber optic backbone, enterprise rack and cable management systems, fiber termination and testing, patch panels and horizontal cable management, professional cable labeling and documentation, and network-ready infrastructure for future expansion. Every fiber pathway was installed with proper bend radius, cable protection and industry best practices to ensure long-term performance and reliability.

Installation Process

Access Cabling deployed a licensed field crew operating on a custom schedule schedule. Rack elevations and pathway drawings were engineered up front, cable assemblies prefabricated off-site, and installation phased around Nivagen Pharmaceuticals, Inc.'s active operations to protect uptime.

Testing & Certification

Every copper drop was Fluke DSX-certified to TIA-568 category performance and every fiber link was tested to TIA-568 tier-1 with OTDR trace on the ,-strand fiber. TIA-606 labels and as-built documentation were delivered with the closeout package.
