The Customer Challenge
Deliver a mission-critical cabling backbone for a large Amazon fulfillment operation on an aggressive go-live schedule, coordinated with active construction trades across a very large footprint.
Engineering Solution
Prefabricated fiber and copper assemblies off-site, phased MDF/IDF buildouts, disciplined tray and J-hook pathways across the operations floor, fusion-spliced OS2 backbone between rooms, and 100% Fluke-certified Cat6A horizontal drops for scanners, Wi-Fi APs, PoE cameras and back-office systems.
Installation Process
Access Cabling deployed a licensed field crew operating on a custom schedule schedule. Rack elevations and pathway drawings were engineered up front, cable assemblies prefabricated off-site, and installation phased around Amazon's active operations to protect uptime.
Testing & Certification
Every copper drop was Fluke DSX-certified to TIA-568 category performance and every fiber link was tested to TIA-568 tier-1 with OTDR trace on the fiber backbone. TIA-606 labels and as-built documentation were delivered with the closeout package.

Results
Delivered a fully labeled, Fluke-certified backbone the Amazon operations and IT teams cut over on schedule — ready to scale as the facility ramps.
Business Benefits
A clean, labeled, expansion-ready infrastructure that Amazon's IT team can service, extend and hand to any auditor. Standardized racks, disciplined pathways and full test documentation reduce time-to-diagnose, protect uptime and shorten every future add / move / change.
Future Expansion
Spare capacity was engineered into pathways, patch fields and rack elevations so Amazon can add drops, switches, cameras, wireless access points and future services without re-cabling. Access Cabling remains the maintenance partner for adds, moves, changes and additional buildouts.
