Overview

Enterprise-Grade Copper Cabling

Access Cabling installs commercial CAT cabling for offices, hospitals, warehouses, campuses and data centers throughout California and nationwide. Our BICSI-trained technicians design, install, terminate, test and certify every run to TIA-568 standards. We hold C-7 and C-10 California contractor licenses (CSLB #992009) and are certified installers for Panduit, CommScope, Leviton and Belden — enabling full-system warranties up to 25 years.

The right CAT category depends on your device density, PoE demand, distance, and how long the plant needs to stay in service. During your free site survey, we'll recommend a right-sized standard — often blending CAT6 workstation drops with CAT6A to WAPs, cameras and the backbone.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Which CAT cable is right for my office?+

Most modern commercial offices install CAT6 as the standard. Choose CAT6A when you need reliable 10 Gbps to 100 meters, dense PoE++, or high-density access-point cabling. CAT8 is reserved for short top-of-rack data center links.

Can I mix CAT6 and CAT6A in the same building?+

Yes. It's common to run CAT6A to WAPs, cameras and the backbone patch fields, and CAT6 to standard workstation drops. Access Cabling engineers a right-sized plan during your site survey.

Do you certify every CAT installation?+

Every CAT drop is tested and certified with Fluke DSX CableAnalyzer platforms. You receive full sign-off documentation with permanent-link results and warranty registration.

What warranties come with CAT cable installations?+

Manufacturer end-to-end system warranties of up to 25 years are available through our Panduit, CommScope, Leviton and Belden partner programs when the full channel is installed by our certified technicians.
